I really want to go to Homecoming because I heard that the half-time shows are great. I also
heard that the entertainment corps here is top-notch. I’m also interested in
water polo.

Bryan DeWilde
Physics Teacher
Introduction:
I took a lot of science courses at UCLA in order to become a vet. But when I was
working at a vet hospital I didn’t agree with the quality of care that was
being provided. There are certain standards that have to be followed at the
place that weren’t being followed.
How did you get to teach here?
Well, my father-in-law taught at Uni so he was friends with Ms. Fosse. And when I was
teaching at Westminster High School in Long Beach, she told me Woodbridge was
hiring a new physics teacher. So last year Mr. Nakaue came to see me teach in
class and then I had a interview with administration.
What events are
you looking forward to?
I’m excited for Academic Decathlon and robotics. I used to play water polo in high
school so I want to see some aquatic sports matches and I heard that the band
and plays here are great. (The science department) is also planning a first
ever Boat Day at Woodbridge in June so I’m getting ready for that,
What is one weird fact about you?
I tend to repeat myself. When I’m in the classroom, I’ll say something and then I’ll
say it again. I tend to repeat myself often.

Woodbridge.

I’ve been involved in athletics since my previous job so I would like to see the
aquatics games here. I would also like to coach an aquatic sport.

I was at Tustin high School before and I took some time off to be with my kids.
And then for one semester, I was a student teacher for Ms. Ogg and Ms. Donovan
before I started teaching here.
What events are you looking forward to?
I’m looking for the pep rallies and I want to hit all the sports once because my

and teach.
