Bruno Major’s first ever tour in the United States may be over, but he certainly left an impression here. After gaining traction with his hit single “Easily”, he has continued to make music every single month, writing the lyrics and providing the vocals for his album, “A Song for Every Moon.” Ranging from soulful croons to songs with influences from folk, his songs covered many topics, such as “Cold Blood”, which talks about intoxicating and dangerous love while “Places We Won’t Walk” has a wistful tone to it.
His performance at the Masonic Lodge at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery may have been at a rather small and unconventional venue, but what lacked in space he made up with his voice. Accompanied by a small band, he took the time to play different instruments himself, from a guitar to a piano, with the crowd swaying to his voice. Every song was met with cheers and applause, garnering a big grin from the British singer.
His tour lasted 16 stops, from Los Angeles to Boston. Even though he only has one official album, his performance was nothing but lively as he performed a variety of songs, from his own songs from a while back to unreleased songs to guitar covers. He was also accompanied by Eloise Alexandra, his keyboardist, who performed a variety of songs as well before Bruno Major took the stage.
Bruno Major will continue to further his music career back in his home country as he has started to accompany Sam Smith for the UK leg of his tour, “The Thrill of it All.” From performing in a small room to touring sold out shows in the UK, Bruno Major certainly has a bright musical career ahead of him.
