Orientation for JSR 22 Fall Semester is planned to be on Saturday, June 22, 2019! The applications for our Junior JSR Program (JJSR 4) are also open with the same anticipated orientation!

JSR is a multi-faceted program aimed at challenging students to do more than just become good writers. The program strives to push even the best student writers to be the best they can be while providing them with the academic freedom to explore their own interests and passions. It doesn’t hurt to see their work published in the pages of a large national newspaper either!
Students also participate in a revision and review process that includes hands-on interaction with seasoned student editors alongside the Chief Editor. The Chief Editor and the Program Coordinator have vast experience with the JSR Program and as an educator and will oversee the program as a whole.
The program has a regional and an international base of students, including members from many US states as well as foreign countries including South Korea and Mexico.
Veterans of JSR have been tremendously successful. Students have landed at top universities including Harvard, Princeton, the US Naval Academy, the University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth, NYU, USC, UC Berkeley and more. Many have reported that JSR equipped them with the skills to help them succeed at their chosen schools.
