The club meets regularly and discusses events that the entire club would like to participate in. This allows for active participation of all members in the club and increased enthusiasm, while also creating a stronger bond between all the members and improving teamwork skills. The founders of the club believe that it is crucial to take into account the opinions of all club’s members.
When asked why they wanted to create this club, co-founder Suseong Cho stated, “I’ve always had a passion for helping others and I thought it would be great to use that passion towards helping my community. At first, I wasn’t sure if many people would want to participate in this club, but after talking to several people, I discovered that many people had a desire to help but had no idea how. I thought this would be a perfect club for them and would give them many benefits like an opportunity to improve teamwork skills.”
Since the club was first created, there has been an overwhelming amount of people who want to participate. “There’s such an immense amount of pride in knowing that you’re helping your community through doing what you enjoy with people you love. I’m so glad and wouldn’t want to trade this with any other club on the campus,” says a member of HOME.
